19-OCT-2004: Moved onto a new project now, being an S13 Nissan Silvia. Plans for it a pretty wild, including going wide body and using various bits and pieces from the GT-R including brakes and wheels. 19-AUG-2004: OK, I've almost sold everything. Only major things left are the Nismo Group A spec Turbos (AUD$2100) and the Gearbox (AUD$800).

15-FEB-2004: Been a while since I updated the site, waiting for my car to be fully completed first (I know, it never will be) before doing a full site refresh. You see it spun a big-end in Feb 2003 and has been in a phase of rebuild since then - fully story to come later. JAN-2003: Well, I couldn't help myself. We've just bought another GT-R (standard, not V-spec). This time in a price bracket we can afford from C-Red. Unlike before though, it's my wife that gets to drive this around the majority of the time (complete with kids in the back and a 'Parents with Pram' sticker on the windscreen). I still get to drive it on the weekends and I'm happy enough to drive a 1991 Silvia K's around during the week. Notable mods are a couple of Nismo RS580 Turbos (not yet boosted into working range), Jasma/Tomei exhaust, K&N Filters and 17x9 Buddy Club P1 Hypergold rims (255/40). Excellent condition inside and outside. 81,500 kms, 2.6 litre Twin-Cam Twin-Turbo 24-Valve (approx. 240kW). 4 wheel Brembo brakes, vented discs, ABS. 4WD, 4WS, PS, PW, Climate Control. K&N Air Filter (panel type in stock airbox). Original 17" BBS V-spec rims. Pioneers CD Stereo, 6 speakers. Alarm, keypad and proximity immobiliser. Nismo suspension, Nismo Weldina Cruising Exhaust (3" Polished Stainless Steel with 4" tip). Nismo front bar intercooler ducts, Nismo side skirts and Nismo boot lip spoiler. Bonnet mounted air-splitter. Non-standard Factory colour. Registered until November 2002. This car is ready to go, no new radio or alarm/immobilisers to be installed (which can easily cost over $2000 when buying an import first in Australia), as it has already been done.

NOTE: To those visiting this web site from the USA, there is currently a couple of companies that can legally import the Nissan Skyline into your country and they're called RB Motoring or Motorex. They have an FAQ section on their web site if you have any questions, but to give you an indicitive costing, after all compliance work, shipping, tax, licensing and registration, you're looking at around the USD$48,000 mark. The majority of this is the USD$16,000 compliance fee for work undertaken by Motorex to meet US motor vehicle regulations.
